In Loving Memory of Beverly Jean Lockwood
Beverly was born in Didsbury, Alberta, on December 30, 1939. She passed away peacefully on December 23, 2023, at the age of 83 years.
Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, Bev is survived by her daughter Tammy Eager, sons Terry Lockwood (Mona) and Darryl Lockwood (Vicki) as well as grandchildren Chris Lockwood (Tara),
Nichole Lockwood, April Lockwood, Joanna Lockwood, Brent Eager (Kimberly) and Steven Eager and great grandchildren Cohen Lockwood, Quinn Lockwood and Violet Eager, and her partner John Miskow as well as Bev’s brother Barrie Davis (Reg).
Bev moved to Canmore in 1972 along with her husband Donald Lockwood to raise their family. For many years they lived in a little yellow house backing onto the pond. Don and Bev, along with their son Terry, opened up Lockwood Autobody in 1980.
Don passed away in 1990 and shortly after Beverly met John Miskow. They spent many years together in that little house on the pond.
Beverly worked numerous jobs after Don passed away including daycare, clothing stores and Tim Horton’s. Bev was always known for her warm smile and excellent taste in food and clothing.
The family would like to thank all the medical staff over the past few years for taking such good care of Beverly. Thank you to Canmore Hospital, Golden Eagle View acute care and Bethany care in Cochrane.
Beverly will be laid to rest in the Canmore Cemetery next to her husband Donald in a private family service.
