UPDATE – Cochrane RCMP located a missing Stoney Nakoda First Nation youth on Wednesday (Sept. 18) after issuing a call for the public’s help to find.
STONEY NAKODA - Cochrane RCMP say a 15-year-old youth from the Stoney Nakoda First Nation is missing and they are asking for public assistance to find her.
Alysia Jade Dixon was reported missing on Tuesday (Sept. 17), however the last known sighting of her was during the Stoney Nakoda Powwow in Morley on Sept. 1.
“There is a general concern for her safety as she is only 15 years old and lives a quasi-transient lifestyle,” the RCMP press release stated.
Dixon was reported missing by the Stony Child and Family Services office. She is described as Indigenous, five foot two, 110 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
