Seton-Jasper Healthcare Centre is now fully operational as acute health services and inpatient admissions resume this week.
The emergency department reopened Aug. 15 and outpatient laboratory and diagnostic imaging services resumed Aug. 20.
Alberta Health Services (AHS) warned that services may be subject to adjustment due to wildfire activity in the area to ensure the safety of those providing and receiving care.
There is no timeline for when continuing care residents could return to Jasper.
“We continue to maintain close relationships with municipal and provincial partners to ensure we have the information we need to develop timelines and a plan for the safe return of residents and patients,” AHS stated in a PSA.
“We are extremely grateful for our frontline teams, staff and physicians who have come together to support the wildfire response across the organization.”
AHS also provides wildfire resources for Albertans on its website.
