Pamela Madsen (Jackson) beloved mother, wife, grammy, and friend passed away at age 64 on the evening of June 26, 2024, after a heroic battle with cancer. Pam is survived by her husband Tony Madsen, daughters Riley James and Lisa Thomson, step daughters Lauren Evans (Will) and Chelsea Madsen, grandson Luke Evans, sister Joan Adams (Keith) and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her mother and father Gwyneth and Richard Jackson, and sisters Patricia Pistore (Carlos) and Shirley Dellett (Don).
Pam was born in Canmore, Alberta, on June 15, 1960. A Miners daughter, Pam and her sisters have always been proud to be a part of the community and Canmore’s heritage. She had an adventurous spirit, loved to travel and try new things, from cruises in Alaska to a Lobster Shack in Nova Scotia. Pam was a character full of life, wit and sarcasm. She was never afraid to say what she was thinking or how she felt and was that way until the very end. Her heart was full and so was her house, being a friend and ear to anyone who needed her.
She had many achievements in her life, but anyone who knew her knows that nothing was more important to her than family, friends, her dog Roger and new role as Grammy Pammy.
Gone too soon and dearly missed.
As per Pam’s wishes there will be no funeral or memorial
She will be laid to rest in the Canmore Cemetery at a future date.
In lieu of flowers please make donations in Pam’s name to your local Humane Society or animal shelter.
