I would like to stand by Mr. Russell regarding full-day kindergarten options in the Bow Valley. Since its opening in September 2001, l’école Notre-Dame des Monts has been offering a full-day kindergarten to its students.
Doing so not only helps the students have an easier transition between kindergarten and Grade 1, it also helps them acquire a better base in French for the rest of their school years.
So, for more than 10 years now, families have been able to enroll their children in a funded full-day kindergarten.
