Notice of Nomination Day for Kananaskis Improvement District Direction with respect to the 2024 Kananaskis Improvement District (KID) by-election process has been provided by the Minister of Alberta Forestry and Parks. Notice of nomination day – Thursday, February 15, 2024 – is hereby given. As per Ministerial Order 26/2017, subsequent notice of election – Thursday, March 28, 2024 – will be provided formally at a later date. For the 2024 KID by-election, nominations are being sought for candidates in the following KID ward: 1. Non-commercial Residents or Ratepayers. All nomination submissions must be finalized, including the affidavit, and submitted prior to Thursday, February 29, 2024 at 16:30. Nomination Forms can be submitted: 1. By mail (at PO Box 70, 1 Boundary Road, Kananaskis, AB, T0L 2H0), 2. Electronically any day of the week, at [email protected]; or 3. In person at the Kananaskis Emergency Services Centre, Monday to Friday between 8:15 and 16:30.
