Alamo Drafthouse Milkshake Creation Contest

The Alamo Drafthouse is having a Milkshake Creation contest. Winner gets their recipe on the menu for at least 3 months along with an all you can watch Alamo Drafthouse Movie pass for 3 months! I can’t not submit a milkshake to this contest. So I won’t not! Infact, I WILL submit a milkshake! And actually, I already did! Below, my submission and recipe.

Joker’s Cher-sea Grin (vanilla | pistachio | cherry)

3 scoops vanilla ice cream
Monin Pistachio syrup
1/2 cup milk
Fresh cherries - keep two whole (For topping) and roughly chop 6-8
1/4 cup roughly chopped pistachios (as milkshake topping)

Combine ice cream, milk and Monin pistachio syrup in blender and blend until smooth (vary milk and ice cream qty to reach desired texture). Add chopped cherries to blender but DO NOT BLEND - use wooden spoon to mix in (cherries will make the milkshake chunky). Pour into glass. Garnish with chopped pistachios and 2 whole cherries (one for each corner of the mouth). Serve immediately!
