$50,000 on some concrete letters to prevent graffiti? How about a competition? $5,000 for the best work of graffiti art? For that kind of money we could do this competition every year for the next ten years? I understand that concrete once installed is maintenance free, but it is stagnant. Just think, fresh colorful graffiti every year? Perhaps the winning work would just go on one wall, and the other wall could be for public graffiti (with profanity rules of course). Who knows? Maybe this will help keep graffiti off private property and enlighten old school art minds to a new and exciting form of expression.
