STONEY NAKODA – Two people were taken to hospital after a two-vehicle collision on Highway 40 Friday night (Aug. 16), police said.
Stoney Nakoda RCMP said they responded to the collision at about 11 p.m., which involved a truck with one person in it and an SUV with three people.
Police said the investigation is indicating the driver of the truck crossed into the south lane and hit the SUV.
The driver of the truck and a passenger in the SUV were taken to hospital, but police said there wasn’t an immediate update on their condition.
Highway 40 was closed for several hours during the investigation, but is now open.
