Bow Valley school divisions implement new policies at beginning of school year in keeping with provincial government direction on banning personal mobile devices in classrooms.

The public will have its chance to weigh in on Canmore council potentially moving forward with policy to discourage employee housing in Canmore’s light industrial areas.

“We need to diversify all of our approaches in terms of trying to bring on more attainable non-market affordable – whatever you want to call it – housing to be able to house our workforce and our citizens. … I think this is a good investment of exploration,”
