The last family that lived in the house was his grandparents in the 90s before a new house became available for them to live in and the home became completely abandoned, leaving much of the original furniture, knickknacks and potential ghosts.

Learning self-confidence, communication skills and getting out of their comfort zones was a common theme of the 19 graduates who took part in the second Bearspaw Empowerment Employment Program ( graduation at the Bearspaw Youth Centre at the end of September

A variety of topics were up for debate at the Cochrane Alliance Church, ranging from alternative energy, climate change, gender pronouns, free speech, pharmacare and equalization payments in Canada

"This is the year of Indigenous language ... and if we lose it, we lose it. We keep it active by speaking it all the time. Language is connected to culture and identity and if language is missing, it is hard to connect to your culture and identity."

The Rocky Mountain Outlook editorial board put together three questions for the candidates from the major political parties in the Banff-Airdrie riding – each candidate responded in their own words

Alysia Jade Dixon was reported missing on Tuesday (Sept. 17), however the last known sighting of her was during the Stoney Nakoda Powwow in Morley on Sept. 1

"In the past, we as young children feared the RCMP, but today is totally different. We have to work with them for a safe community [and] I know in the future we will benefit from their services."

The fate of the Stoney Nakoda youth who was accused of shooting German tourist Horst Stewin in the head last August has been reserved until October.
