LETTER: The time for simply accepting these totally preventable tragedies as inevitable or talking about the situation is over. Parks Canada completed the necessary design and environmental impact assessments back in 2019. The time has now come to act and implement.

LETTER: It’s remarkable how many people have approached me since the Jasper evacuation – including people I’d never met before – openly expressing their anxiety.

LETTER: Returning from Calgary the other day, traffic on Bow Valley Trail going West was backed up all the way to NAPA Automotive.

LETTER: Instead, let’s focus on maintaining the livability and safety of our town for current residents, preserving what makes Canmore a wonderful place to call home.

LETTER: When is Canmore’s mayor and council as well as Town administration going to concede the intersection beside the A&W at Bow Valley Trail and Railway Avenue/Benchlands Trail simply does not work?

LETTER: The language is simple and it is clear that the hunting of grizzly bears is now legal in Alberta. This ministerial order should be rescinded before a large mammal gets hurt or killed – and that may not be the grizzly bear.

LETTER: Now that the Banff Ave issue has been solved, let's talk about another problem – the Mountain Ave redesign.

LETTER: Thank you to the Banff mayor and council members who supported a bold vision for our vibrant, connected, walkable downtown core and the Town of Banff staff that made it not only possible, but beautiful.

LETTER: I know the Banff Ave. pedestrian zone has been a hot topic in our town this summer but can we please move on together and not be so divided?
