LETTER: The Town and Parks Canada urgently needs an open and informed conversation about how to ensure safety and ecological integrity in this era of extreme wildfire risk. All facets of fire preparedness need to adapt to 21 Century realities.

LETTER: Let’s all support this visionary initiative and move forward for the benefit of our grandchildren.

LETTER: By limiting challengers' ability to run strong campaigns, we are essentially anointing incumbents.

LETTER: We are extremely concerned about the proposed area redevelopment plan (ARP) for Canmore’s downtown.

LETTER: The valley is still so beautiful, so take time to appreciate it every day and it will always hold a place in my heart.

LETTER: As the August 12th referendum on the Town of Banff’s pedestrian zone rapidly approaches, I ask eligible local residents to consider a few important questions before deciding how to vote.

LETTER: I hope that the Parks Canada Superintendent for Banff field unit, Banff town council and the Banff Lake Louise Tourism Bureau will invest the time to rethink the Banff Ave. pedestrian zone debacle in light of the recent tragedy in Jasper.

Editor: Our top priority is the safety and security of our community, and all other activities become secondary in times of emergency to safeguard our residents and visitors.

LETTER: In my opinion, unless it’s accessible to everyone it shouldn’t be accessible to anyone.

LETTER: I am writing to express my growing concern regarding the persistent traffic congestion at the intersection of Railway Avenue and Bow Valley Trail.
