LETTER: I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the recent Canmore council decision at its July meeting to cancel the installation of four electric (EV) chargers in Canmore due to increased costs.

LETTER: Let's all do our part to prevent climate disasters in our backyard and across the planet. The animals and future generations will thank us.

LETTER: The name of Maligne Lake should revert to the Stoney Nakoda First Nation's name of Chaba Imne or Beaver Lake.

LETTER: The Canmore Folk Festival stakes claim to being the longest-running folk music festival in Alberta, which may explain why its organizing principles are reminiscent of Canada’s colonial past.

LETTER: My heart goes out to the people of Jasper. It is heart-wrenching. But, we need to press hard to not repeat history here, we need to learn from this tragedy and stop sticking our heads in the sand to the risks.

LETTER: What will the addition of a hotel and Nordic spa do to the already overcrowded road and facilities and the subsequent enjoyment of the existing residents of the Bow Valley?

Regarding this grizzly hunt, which is not actually a hunt as no tags have been or will be issued.

LETTER: The devastating fire in Jasper brought to mind comments made by a First Nations guest speaker at an event last February in Cochrane.

LETTER: Fire in Banff is entirely foreseeable. Will the negligence of Parks Canada continue? While they move on, it is our home and our lives.

LETTER: Kudos to Bob Sanford for putting into words what many of us feel about the daily chaos in our once normal town with the OpEd in the July 25 edition of the Outlook "Over-Tourism: When is enough enough?".
